The novelty of home
A brief and visual update on my first return to Australia in 5 years. While the changes have disrupted my creative practice and grounding, being able to re/connect with place, family, friends and nature here is providing a path to open new creative paths.
This constraint inspired me
Obstacles are often invitations to something bigger or new. In this blog post, I share how one obstacle - not having the space required to paint big - became an invitation to create a new artwork, differently. I am in love with this painting and despite my space constraints, it is the largest I’ve made.
