About me

Do you ever find yourself dreaming for your days to look different to what your work and life has you doing?

Burned out from your work’s hustle and repetition, but unclear on what to do next?

Long for your creativity to be more central to your work and life, but unsure how to make a viable living?

Or perhaps you want to be recognised for your leadership but grapple with self-doubt?

I am a coach, artist and facilitator

I live on Kombumerri country, Gold Coast, Australia. I have English, Irish, Scottish and Jewish ancestry.

My work as a holistic coach empowers professionals who are changing the world for better, to do more of what they love, and less of what drains them. I believe that knowing and living aligned with who you truly are is the leadership the world needs.

My art invites you to explore your place in the world by reflecting on the connections we hold as humans - to each other, to ourselves, and to place and space. I am captivated by life’s joy, passions and inspiration, leading my art to focus upon life-giving experiences and journeys towards justice and liberation.

About me as a holistic coach

Through coaching, I get to support and uplift changemakers who want to lead value-based and empowered lives.

Being a holistic coach means I work with you as a whole person - not just as a business owner, or corporate/community leader, or whichever of your hats takes front view when we begin our work together.

Your leadership is entwined with your wellbeing and creativity. A sense of deep joy and satisfaction are equally important to the impact you want to make to our collective world.

Being one who loves rigor and evidence-base, I am training with the Australian Institute of Professional Coaches and opted into the path of ICF-certification.

My approach is informed by my 20 years of research, advocacy and leadership regarding health and community, including with Meta, World Health Organisation, Intuitive, Oxfam and state and district health services.

Coaching is a natural extension of my long standing passion to enable people to increase control over their health, and the determinants of their health. I love that coaching allows us to share a journey that transforms disillusionment, stuckness or burnout into a force of power and creativity, so that you can effect change for yourself and those you serve.

It would be my honour and privilege to walk alongside you as you embrace all of who you are and begin designing and creating the life you want.

About me as an artist

Growing up in Australia on the land with animals, particularly horses, grounded me with a love for nature. I recognise the more-than-human world as kin, connected to us in interdependent, reciprocal relationship. As an artist with a PhD straddling anthropology and public health, I see the link between arts, culture and health for all as both intuitive and evidenced. I believe that art is a core part of human experience and expression - alongside joy, rest and connection - which must be protected and amplified, in resistance to its devaluing by Western capitalist culture.

My art explores what it is to be in relationship to each other, and to a place and space. Through poetry, mixed-media painting and research, I reflect and amplify what I see and believe is possible in our relationships. Topics evident in my work include friendship and connection, self determination, environment and place, social equity and justice, and joy.

My art has been exhibited at Ingleside Gallery, the Drawing Room SF, ArtFluent and in Santa Barbara, and published in La Raíz Magazine. My poetry has been published in The Doctorate Magazine and is a part of the forthcoming Deadly Poets Society anthology. I am a member of the National Organization of Arts and Health, People’s CDC artists group and Deadly Poets Society (in CRE-STRIDE*).
