Water as unexpected teacher through collapse
What does it mean to relate to water as a sentient being when in a state of collapse? This is a question that surfaced through my latest painting explorations. This article offers a preliminary way to think about possible futures for a world transitioning through collapse. While such questions can be confronting, they also open up possibilities of collective healing.
This constraint inspired me
Obstacles are often invitations to something bigger or new. In this blog post, I share how one obstacle - not having the space required to paint big - became an invitation to create a new artwork, differently. I am in love with this painting and despite my space constraints, it is the largest I’ve made.
