I believe that creativity is the ultimate facilitator and sign of health in a community.

I am a coach, artist and facilitator, and at the heart of all my work is creating healthier communities — for all.

As a ICF-certified coach, I empower values-driven professionals to reconnect with their creativity to reinvigorate their leadership and wellbeing - so that they can redesign their life and career in ways that nourish them and the world they dream of.

My art explores what it is to be in relationship to each other, and to a place and space. Through poetry, mixed-media painting and research, I reflect and amplify what I see and believe is possible in our relationships.

After 20+ years of research and practice regarding health and community, my approach is premised on health being a collective act that requires dialogue, self-determination and social transformation.

“Coaching with Karen helped move me to a new place that I don’t think I could have got to on my own. Karen is a careful and powerful listener. Karen is incredibly enabling and constantly uncovered something positive or actionable that I was not able to see before. With Karen, I managed to get to the heart of the matter/s, and in turn that assisted my progress considerably. And my creative practice has stopped being that feeling I stress about (“You know you’ll never do that!” etc.); it is now activated and habitable, and I understand and feel connected with it.”
