The Winter sunset glow reflects warmly on the quirky ice cream truck that trades their wares to people strolling along Southbank. Against the Brisbane city silhouette, this sky welcomed me home to Australia after living in the U.S.A. for several years. It was this sky that brightened my heart, leaving me remarking at its beauty each evening. I painted this work using a limited palette to highlight the sun’s splendid setting light, as the evening gently cooled.
