At the start of each day, this palm tree greets me, like a cheerful neighbour popping its head over the fence. It stands as a grounding sentinel, welcoming the rising sun over Burleigh rooftops and a companion to my starting day. My colour palette lent itself to revealing the brightening morning sun over the rooftops.
