This playful painting came as mother (Jennie) and daughter (Karen) joined together to create on one canvas. We chose the colours together, instinctively, as we painted, chatted and walked about each other and around the canvas. We reached across each other to place a line or dot on the painting, our bright colour choices reflecting the joy of celebrating the grace and strength of women - while simultaneously experiencing the joy of creating together.
This painting’s creative process brought alive that special something that exists in women sharing and accepting each other and our abilities (or lack of), while communicating and creating together.
